The proposed program of study is (CNA) Certified nursing assistant students 2025, which is defined as entry-level healthcare worker who provide basic medical care and daily assistance to patients. They work under the supervision of licensed nurses. The objective of the program is as follow: Maintaining professional accreditation status by meeting all requirements. Providing an education that reflects the mission and goals. Providing a well-rounded curriculum by adhering to the current needs of the community. Offering educational activities by using all educational resources. Keeping up to date by participating in continuing education with the latest educational and technological innovations. Develop assurance and confidence in performing basic nursing tasks. Recognize their role in the health care system and becoming effective team members. Enhance interpersonal skills to maintain professionalism and respecting others. Interacting with other healthcare professional and the community. Enhance students critical thinking abilities, to take charge of their own learning and continue professional development. Students will complete quizzes, view online videos and take an exit exam. Students must pass the exit exam with an 80% or better to be eligible for the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) Certification exam.
The Certified Nurse Assistant is a 8-week program. Classes and Lab Mon/Wed/Thurs (5:30pm-10:30pm)
